Operation Inasmuch Expands to Connecticut

On August 2, 2025, Operation Inasmuch reached a significant milestone by conducting the very first Inasmuch training in the state of Connecticut. Hosted by Nichols United Methodist Church in Trumbull, this gathering marked Connecticut as the 26th state to participate in an Inasmuch Training.

Nichols UMC is now prayerfully preparing for their inaugural Inasmuch Day, scheduled for winter 2025. The congregation will come together in unity to serve their neighbors through practical acts of compassion, embodying the words of Galatians 5:13, “Through love serve one another.” Their efforts will be a living witness of Christ’s command in Matthew 25:40, “Inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these, you did it to me.”

The heart of Operation Inasmuch is to mobilize the local church to be the hands and feet of Jesus in their own community. Each new training is more than an event, it is an opportunity to equip believers to love their neighbors in tangible, life-changing ways. We look forward with great anticipation to seeing how God will use the people of Nichols UMC to bless Trumbull this winter.

As more churches join the Inasmuch movement, the mission continues to grow stronger: to live out 1 Peter 4:10, “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”

If your church desires to impact your community through service, Operation Inasmuch is ready to help. From equipping leaders with practical training to providing resources and encouragement, we partner with churches to create opportunities for believers to serve in Christ’s name.

Connecticut’s first training is only the beginning of what God is doing through this ministry and we invite your church to be part of this mission of compassion and service.
