Gilbert Taylor Grant

Who is Gilbert Taylor?

Gilbert Taylor was a member of Snyder Memorial Baptist Church of Fayetteville, North Carolina where Operation Inasmuch began. He was joyfully involved. He loved using his hands in carpentry type projects and was always one of the volunteers helping to build wheelchair ramps or repairing a porch. His joy was infectious.

What is the Gilbert Taylor Memorial Grant Fund?

The grant fund was established in 2021. Part of Gilbert’s estate was set aside to fund a grant which will enhance the Inasmuch ministry’s efforts to work with hundreds of churches across the country.

Individual churches and/or networks of churches that have a desire to mobilize their members/churches using the Inasmuch model of compassion ministry, but may need financial assistance to get the process started can utilize the funding. We also offer funding to churches or groups who are interested in hosting a food packing event for their community.
