A Decade of Faithful Service

For the past 10+ years, Ben Davis has faithfully served as a volunteer with High Point’s Inasmuch Day in High Point, North Carolina. A dedicated member of Forest Hills Presbyterian Church, Ben has made it a priority to invest in his local community through hands-on service and meaningful connections.

What began as a simple opportunity to help has grown into a deeply personal commitment. Year after year, Ben has witnessed firsthand the needs within his community, needs that often go unnoticed. Through his service, he has come to better understand not only why serving matters, but how it can truly transform lives. One of the things he cherishes most is seeing the smiles on the faces of those they serve, moments of joy that remind him of the impact even small acts of kindness can have.

Ben encourages anyone who may be considering volunteering to take that first step. “Don’t be afraid to get out and serve,” he shares. “It will not only impact your community, but it will also deepen your personal faith in ways you may not expect.” His words reflect the heart of Inasmuch Day, service that changes both the giver and the receiver.

A graduate of Appalachian State University and an Eagle Scout, Ben has long valued leadership, service, and outdoor adventure. He enjoys hiking and continues to invest in the next generation as an Assistant Scoutmaster, mentoring young people and instilling in them the same values that have guided his own life.

Ben’s consistent dedication over more than a decade is a powerful example of what it means to serve faithfully. His story is a reminder that lasting impact is often built through simple acts of obedience and a willingness to show up year after year.

Thank you, Ben, for your commitment, your compassion, and your unwavering dedication to High Point’s Inasmuch Day. Your service is making a difference.
